Participants of the International Multiculturalism Winter School visited the grave of the Great Leader and the Alley of Martyrs
On February 18, the participants of the XI International Multiculturalism Winter School organized by Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC) under the title "War crimes against cultural heritage: in the historical context of the Karabakh conflict" came to the Alley of Honor and paid tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people, the architect of modern independent Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at his grave.
The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated and flowers were laid on her grave.
Then the guests who came to the Alley of Martyrs honored the memory of the heroic sons of the Homeland, who died in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, and laid flowers on their graves as well.
The participants of the winter school, who viewed the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku from its highest point, were given detailed information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the landscaping and construction work carried out in our city.
