The German Participant of the Winter School Project: Countries Should Follow the Suit of Azerbaijan’s Model of Tolerance
I am studying the history of international relations and sociology at Berlin Humboldt University in Germany. At the same time, I am doing a research on the relations between Germany and Azerbaijan. My articles in this line have been published in different publications. After my arrival to Azerbaijan, the district of Guba I have further improved my views on the model of tolerance here. I was attracted by the co-existence of different confessions, nations and ethnicities under the conditions of mutual understanding.
These words were uttered by Urs Unkauf, a German participant of the Project of the VIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism.
The German participant highly appraised the significance of the project that involves the students from the leading universities of 16 countries of the world.
We attended the lectures on the religious and ethnic diversity in Azerbaijan. We found out what rich multicultural values your country enjoys. Many countries in the world should follow the suit of the model of Azerbaijan’s tolerance,” stated Urs Unkauf.
