According to President Ilham Aliyev's speech at the opening of the Tartar Olympic Sports Complex on June 3, 2020, the absolute majority of geographical names in the territory of the current Republic of Armenia are of Azerbaijani origin, and according to his recommendation given to scientists and specialists of Azerbaijan regarding the research and promotion of this topic, with the organization of Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC) and the Presidential Library of the Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Azerbaijan University of Languages, historians, scientists on historical toponyms, linguistics and mapping with the involvement of experienced specialists, prepared and published the book "Onomastics of Truth" in Azerbaijani and English languages.
Academician Kamal Abdulla, Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, who spoke at the presentation ceremony, greeted the event participants and informed about the idea of the book and the preparation process. It was emphasized that this book is a serious step in revealing the truths of Azerbaijan. It was noted that falsification of history is considered an unacceptable political act in world history. K. Abdulla said that the book "Onomastics of Truth" is an extremely important, significant and strategic collection. Our history, language, religion, and ancestry are reflected in this collection. All these facts are described not only with toponyms, but also with maps. In fact, most of you are familiar with the copy of this book presented in Azerbaijani, and now this book has been published in English. This will increase the distribution area of the book and allow it to be read more. The book stands out for its unique importance in many areas. The book "The Onomastics of Truth" is a clear example of an important research work from the educational, scientific, and political point of view. 
Then Ravan Hasanov, executive director of Baku International Multiculturalism Center, Mayil Ahmadov, director of the Presidential Library of the Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the authors of the book, Nazim Mustafa, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Professor Ibrahim Bayramov, Doctor of Philology, MP Hikmet Babaoglu, Rector of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology Agil Shirinov and others spoke about the importance of the publication, its role in exposing and preventing the falsification of toponyms belonging to our people in the territory of Armenia. It was emphasized that the book is a mirror of the last 200 years of current Armenia. This book is an important contribution in bringing us closer to our strategic goals. The book "Onomastics of Truth" differs sharply from other publications and will be a useful resource for scientists and researchers.

The book is dedicated to the facts of changing and falsifying historical and geographical names in the territory of the current Republic of Armenia.
The book "Onomastics of Truth", which is the result of intense research work, is one of the most obvious examples of Armenian vandalism and forgery - the massive change and falsification of about 1,600 toponyms, hydronyms, oronyms belonging to us in order to erase the traces of Azerbaijanis who lived for centuries in the historical lands of Azerbaijan, in the territory of the present Republic of Armenia, is dedicated to the fact that many settlements were purposely completely erased from the face of the earth. The book, intended for experts and a wide readership, gives the history and explanation of the toponyms of 737 residential areas, 499 abolished villages and settlements, 704 renamed administrative units, 231 oronims, 116 hydronyms, 137 meadows and winter meadows, which are the ancestral home of Azerbaijanis in Armenia. On the territory of Armenia, research work is being continued in the direction of determining toponyms. The book is also planned to be published in Russian soon.
