Today Antonia Wynne-Hughes, Canadian Embassy’s second secretary on political issues, met with Ravan Hasanov, the executive director of Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC). At the meeting held in BIMC premises, Ravan Hasanov gave detailed information about the ethnocultural and religious diversity in Azerbaijan, multiculturalism implemented as a state policy and its role in intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as well as BIMC’s activities and projects carried out. During the conversation, prospects of future cooperation with Canadian state agencies and higher education institutions were also discussed. Antonia Wynne-Hughes thanked for the high-level reception and said the Embassy will support BIMC in cooperation relations.
