General debates of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly were held on September 24, 2020. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke in the general debates in video format.

In his speech, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of multiculturalism for the Government of Azerbaijan, the role of Azerbaijan in intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as well as Azerbaijan's new calls for friendship of peoples and nations.

Mr. President also stated that freedom of religion is ensured in Azerbaijan, religious monuments are restored by the Government, who pays special attention to this sphere.
