Today is the Jewish Genocide - Holocaust Remembrance Day
According to the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005, January 27 is honored annually as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Holocaust means “burned to ashes” and this name is not accidental. When the fascist regime was in power in Germany millions of Jews were subjected to horrific torture in death camps, drowned in gas chambers, and burned on Hitler's orders. The reasons for the killing of these innocent people were Jew-hatred and fascism racism, which reached its peak during the fascism era. The number of Holocaust victims is 6 million, 1.5 million of them are children. We commemorate the victims of the Holocaust with deep respect.
