I represent Ukraine in this year's International Multiculturalism Winter School. We implement a number of projects in our country based on the practice of Azerbaijan in interreligious and intercultural relationships, especially among young people. Ukrainian youth and students are very interested in learning from this positive model

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 -- The implementation of multiculturalism as a state policy has benefited Azerbaijan, where the policy has resulted in political and economic stability for the country.

The event brought together approximately 80 participants from 30 countries. Representing Azerbaijan at the event, Baku International Multiculturalism Center employee Araz Gurbanov delivered a speech on the topic of “Geopolitical and regional importance of CICA in the formation of interstate relations and intercultural dialogue”.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, AUL Rector, Academician Kamal Abdullayev said the foundation of the multiculturalism policy of the Azerbaijan Republic was laid by National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the meeting held in BIMC premises, Ravan Hasanov gave detailed information about the ethnocultural and religious diversity in Azerbaijan, multiculturalism implemented as a state policy and its role in intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as well as BIMC’s activities and projects carried out.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, SCWRO Deputy Chairman Sayavush Heydarov spoke about the events taking place around the world on religious grounds.
