Today is the Remembrance Day of the Holocaust victims.

Today is the Remembrance Day of the Holocaust victims. According to the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005, January 27 is celebrated every year as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The word "Holocaust" means "burnt to ashes," and the name is not accidental. When the Nazi regime was in power in Germany, millions of Jewish people were brutally tortured in death camps and stifled and burned in gas chambers by Hitler's order. The reasons for the death of these innocent people were the hatred towards the Jewish and Nazi racism that peaked in the fascism period.
