A new publication of Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC) titled “Ethnocultural heritage of Caucasian Albania” has come out.

According to the press service of BIMC, the publication, which is available in Azerbaijani, Russian and English, is a collection of articles exploring the historical, archeological, ethnological, ethnographical, architectural and artistic aspects of Caucasian Albania. Bringing together studies by Russian, Polish, Turkish, Norwegian, Italian, Japanese and Azerbaijani scholars, this compilation also sheds light on the facts of Armenians’ appropriation of the heritage of Caucasian Albania.

Mazzola Francesco’s “Ancient Christian architecture of the Caucasus”, Albright Marek Jean’s “Albania during the Parthian period”, Wegge Bjorn’s “Road that leads from Jerusalem to Kish”, Hirose Yoko’s ““Complex Perspectives on Nagorno Karabakh: From comparative views between the Azerbaijanis and the Armenians”, and other similar articles are the result of sound research and in-depth analysis. The fact that, in addition to Azerbaijani, this compilation has also been published in Russian and English creates an opportunity to present the realities of Caucasian Albania at the international level.
