The Nepalese Student: the Multicultural Values in Azerbaijan must be Maintained and Advocated in the World
Khachmaz, 19 February
I am happy that I am a participant of the VIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism. I haven’t been to Azerbaijan before. I am studying your country’s model of multiculturalism in the frames of the project. It is interesting that we are listening to the lectures on tolerance, and later we witness what we have heard. When we went to the Red Settlement in Guba, we saw that all we had heard at the lectures reflected the truth. Indeed, your country is an exemplary country for the world in multiculturalism. The multicultural values in Azerbaijan must be maintained and advocated in the world.
These words were uttered by Durgesh Pradhan Kasaju, a Nepalese participant of the VIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism “The Literary-artistic Sources of Azerbaijani Multiculturalism”.
The Nepalese student stated that the attitude of the state towards the minority nations and ethnicities, representatives of various confessions is the guarantee of peace and security.
“I thank Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism for the realization of such a project. Along with studying Azerbaijan’s model of tolerance, we have also been able to get acquainted with the students from the leading universities of various countries of the world,” emphasized the Nepalese student.
