XIII INTERNATIONAL MULTICULTURALISM WINTER SCHOOL CONTINUES IN REGION
XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism, entitled "Unity in cultural diversity: the example of Azerbaijan", continues its work in the region.
The participants listened to lecture on "Multiculturalism model of Azerbaijan: Unity in cultural diversity" on February 22. The lecture was submitted by Irina Kunina, Head of the Teaching Department of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism. She gave detailed information about the concept of multiculturalism, its models and the model of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan. He talked about the main characteristics, work mechanism and principles of the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism. He spoke about the multicultural and tolerant environment in Azerbaijan, the existing national-cultural diversity, ethnic-religious tolerance and multi-confessionalism. She stressed that, the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism became an exemplary model for many modern societies. Representatives of different religions and cultures in the country are united around the ideology of Azerbaijanism and live in peace and friendship.
The participants of the XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School will get acquainted with the Shahdag Summer-Winter Tourism Recreation Complex during the day. At the end of the day, a musical evening "Introduce Your Nation" will be organized. During the musical evening, the participants will provide information about the history, culture, and ethnic diversity of their country.
Let's remind that, XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School dedicated to "Heydar Aliyev Year" will last until February 26. The students from the leading universities of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Brazil, Romania, Germany, Palestine, Russia, United States of America, Georgia, Pakistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, Mozambique, Central African Republic, Syria, Sri Lanka, China and Japan are participating in XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School.
