An event called "This victory is a common victory of all of us" was held in Ankara jointly organized by Baku International Multiculturalism Center and "Ankara - Azerbaijan Association of Culture and Art" which was created to represent our country's culture in the international arena.
Non-governmental organizations operating in Ankara, representatives of political organizations, intellectuals, students, media representatives took part in the event.
Oktay Hajimusali, the Turkish representative of Baku International Multiculturalism Center, writer-journalist, who opened the event with an introduction, said that in the Second Karabakh War all of Azerbaijan united closely around the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and scored a great victory. Talking about the importance of multiculturalism, religious, national and racial tolerance the journalist emphasized that the role of every citizen of the country, regardless of religion, language, and race was undeniable in achieving this victory.
Chairman of "Anka - Azerbaijan Association of Culture and Art", research writer Derya Akdemir said that Azerbaijan's culture and art are ancient and this antiquity has a serious impact on political and ideological thinking. She noted that this victory should be considered a victory not only for Azerbaijan and Turkey but for the Turkic world as a whole.
General in reserve Yujel Karauz, former Turkish military attache in Azerbaijan, Dogan Bekin, 1st deputy chairman of the Yeniden Refah party, Najib Lachin, grandson of the legendary Sultan Bey, Ismet Tash, chairman of the Central Anatolia Association, Mehmet Barbaros Ozturk, chairman of the Ottoman People's Mobilization Movement, all of them as always supported Azerbaijan in this war, providing moral support to each other, Turkey stated that they were step by step moving towards victory. At the event, poems, music, movlavi and the famous "Efe" dance of Turkey were performed, and a video about the victory in the Patriotic War was shown.
