The leader of a group of religious communities in the United States visited Multiculturalism Center

The leader of a group of religious communities in Los Angeles, USA visited Baku International Multiculturalism Center. 
       At the meeting, the executive director of the Center Ravan Hasanov gave extensive information about the successful multiculturalism policy of President Ilham Aliyev, the advantages of the Azerbaijani multiculturalism model, the "Baku process", as well as the projects implemented during the seven-year period of activity of the institution he heads, and the activities of its branches operating in 10 countries. It was noted that Azerbaijan is an example to the whole world in the field of multiculturalism and tolerance, regardless of language, religion, race, ethnicity, all citizens of our country have rights and freedom based on international principles, including freedom of conscience and religious belief.
      Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the guests emphasized that the traditions of multiculturalism and tolerance are an important factor that brings people closer and unites them, and that it is commendable that multiculturalism is accepted as a way of life in Azerbaijan at a time when extremism and violence are spreading in the world. It was noted that Azerbaijan encourages other countries with its example and it is necessary to use its experience. The guests stated they came to our country with the intention of holding discussions for cooperation and collaboration on ensuring security and stability in the region, establishing peace and other priority issues within the framework of the "Safe return of displaced people" project. Emphasizing that they will go to the territories freed from occupation and the regions where ethnic minorities live compactly in our country, the guests pointed out they want to get acquainted with the Azerbaijani truths and contribute to the development of the region under the current realities.
       At the end, the guests were presented with books published by the Center in English.
