WINTER SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS HEARD A LECTURE "HEYDAR ALIYEV AND MULTICULTURALISM"

On February 20, participants of the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism, organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism, called "Unity in cultural diversity on the example of Azerbaijan'', took part in the lecture event on the topic "Heydar Aliyev and multiculturalism"  held at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. The lecturer was a Vice-Rector of ADA University Fariz İsmayilzade.
F. Ismailzade noted that multiculturalism has deep roots in Azerbaijan.Heydar Aliyev's merits in shaping the traditions of multiculturalism in our country and creating this model are multifaceted. He emphasized that Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, with his far-sighted and wise policy, developed the centuries-old tradition of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan and raised it to a qualitatively new level. President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the political direction laid down by Heydar Aliyev in the field of protection and development of the multicultural traditions of the Azerbaijani people in our country. Nowadays Azerbaijan is an example of a country in the world with its own policy of multiculturalism and its achievements in this area.
It should be noted that the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism, dedicated to the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, will last until February 26. It is attended by 30 representatives leading universities of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Brazil, Romania, Germany, Palestine, Russia, USA, Georgia, Pakistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, Mozambique, CAR, Syria, Sri Lanka, China and Japan.
