BRAZILIAN STUDENT: AZERBAIJAN IS A COUNTRY WITH A VERY RICH HISTORY AND MULTICULTURAL VALUES

It’s my first visit to Azerbaijan. I was informed about XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School by Baku International Multiculturalism Center. Before that I was participant of special courses on multiculturalism at the University of Paraíba in Brazil. I am very happy to be a participant of this school. Because there is an opportunity to learn more about the culture of Azerbaijan. I know that Azerbaijan is a country with a very rich history and multicultural values.

It was stated by Hanna Cruz, participant of XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School from Brazil in her interview entitled "Unity in cultural diversity: in the example of Azerbaijan".  

Brazilian student stated that, They learned interesting information about the national and religious minorities living in Azerbaijan and the state policy related to them in the lectures they listened to within the project.

“We got acquainted closely with with the national customs and lifestyles of the Lezgi people while we were in Gusar region. Even we watched the preparation of samples from their national cuisine. Ethnic minorities make their contributions to to the culture of each country. To protect them and keep their culture alive are very important. This policy is successfully implemented in Azerbaijan. We learned a lot about ethnic minorities, different religious confessions, and the regulation of relations between them in your country during our stay here. I had pleasant impressions about Azerbaijan," said the Brazilian participant.

Let's remind that, XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School dedicated to "Heydar Aliyev Year" will last until February 26.  

The students from the leading universities of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Brazil, Romania, Germany, Palestine, Russia, United States of America, Georgia, Pakistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, Mozambique, Central African Republic, Syria, Sri Lanka, China and Japan are participating in XIII International Multiculturalism Winter School.
