The scientific research competition in the field of multiculturalism announced by Baku International Multiculturalism Center in July of this year for local and foreign researchers has finished.  
The goal of the international competition "Multiculturalism scientific research competition 2021" organized by Multiculturalism Center is to support high-level scientific research in the field of multiculturalism. One of the goals was to expand international relations with multiculturalism centers and scientists operating in different countries through the scientific-research competition. The competition announced at the beginning of July continued until December 1, 2021. Among the scientific research submitted to the competition, 3 from Azerbaijan and 9 from different countries of the world were accepted in accordance with the rules. At the second stage, taking into account the activity of the applied scholars and their research in the field of multiculturalism, the scientific research works were presented to the reviewer group of the competition consisting of foreign scientists. On December 20, the degree of compliance of the research works submitted for the competition with the priorities of modern science was determined and 3 research papers were recognized as winners. The following research works were honored with an award: “Geopolitics of Azerbaijani Multiculturalism” by Ulviyya Sanili Aydin, associate professor of Manisa Celal Bayar University, Turkey, “A new look at the attitude of consumers to the consumer object and purchase intentions in a multicultural environment” by Muddassar Sarfraz, associate professor of Wuxi University of the People’s Republic of China, and “The importance of cultural diversity, shaping perspectives towards migrants: racism and cultural diversity in the media” by Dr. Brindua-Mariana Amalancei and Dr. Andreia-Irina Suciu, associate professors of Bacău University named after Vasile Alecsandri of the Republic of Romania. The winners were awarded with honorary diplomas and competition prizes. 
       It should be noted that the winning scientific-research works will be published in a book format by Baku International Multiculturalism Center in a short period of time to support the winners.
