Participants of the International School of Multiculturalism visit “Shahdag” Tourism Center

On February 17, participants of the 10th International Winter School of Multiculturalism, organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC), toured the Shahdag Tourist Center in Gusar.
The project participants were provided with detailed information about the hotels and services offered here. It was noted that the northern region of Azerbaijan is also an attractive destination for tourism development along with its economy. Important steps have been taken in recent years to establish tourism infrastructure in the region. The number of tourists visiting the Shahdag Tourist Center in Gusar increases year by year. This center can be considered as the tourism brand of Azerbaijan. Shahdag is beautiful in all seasons of nature.
Winter school participants had the opportunity to benefit from the services of the center.
International Multiculturalism Summer and Winter Schools Project is a logical continuation of “Teaching Azerbaijani multiculturalism at foreign and local universities” Project. The purpose of the winter and summer schools organized for students studying Azerbaijani multiculturalism at 21 foreign and 38 Azerbaijani prestigious higher education institutions under the educational project is to enable those young people to see and witness with their own eyes what they have learned theoretically, in our country where the values of multiculturalism and tolerance are preserved.
25 students from the leading universities of countries such as Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Colombia, Croatia, India, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Montenegro, Moldova, Nigeria, Portugal, Russia, Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Turkey, USA and Brazil attend the 10th International Multiculturalism School, which will last until February 22.
