Meeting with President of Interdenominational Congress of Christian Leaders Johnnie Moore at Multiculturalism Center
At the Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC), a meeting was held with Johnnie Moore, the founder and president of the Interdenominational Congress of Christian Leaders, who arrived in our country to attend the II Baku Summit of World Religious Leaders. At the meeting, BIMC Executive Director Ravan Hasanov informed in detail about the successful multiculturalism policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev in our country, the benefits of the Azerbaijani Multiculturalism model, the Baku process and the projects implemented during the past five-year operation of the Baku International Multicultural Center. The Executive Director also touched upon the II Baku Summit of World Religious Leaders and its importance. Johnnie Moore, founder and president of the Interdenominational Congress of Christian Leaders, thanked Hasanov for the meeting. Noting that this was not his first time in Azerbaijan, he praised the tolerant and multicultural environment in the country as a successful example. Evangelical Protestant religious communities in our country, including "Azerbaijan Bible Society", "Word of Life", "Life Word", "Alov" Christian Home Churches, "Vineyard Azerbaijan" “Baptist Church”, "Stars in the East", "Evangelical Lutheran Church", Leaders of the Christian religious communities "Agape" and "Adventists of the 7th day" also attended the meeting. Community leaders gave detailed information about the activities of the religious groups they represent and the favorable conditions created for them in Azerbaijan.
At the end of the meeting, participants took a group photo and gifts were presented to the guest of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center.
