XIII INTERNATIONAL WINTER SCHOOL OF MULTICULTURALISM HAS STARTED

On February 20, participants of the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism "Unity in cultural diversity on the example of Azerbaijan” came to the Alley of Honor burials honored the memory and laid flowers at his tomb of Heydar Aliyev, national the leader of our people, the architect of modern independent Azerbaijan. They also honored the memory of the famous ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva and laid flowers on her grave.
The guests who came to the Alley of Martyrs honored the memory of the heroes of the Motherland, who died in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, and laid flowers at their graves.
The participants of the winter school, admiring the view of the capital from the highest point of Baku, were given detailed information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and events held in our city landscaping and construction works. Then the participants of the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism listened to a lecture on "Heydar Aliyev and multiculturalism" at ADA University. Read the lecture Vice-Rector of ADA University Fariz Ismayilzade. F. Ismailzade noted that multiculturalism has deep roots in Azerbaijan. The merits of Heydar are the many-sided Aliyev in the formation of the traditions of multiculturalism in our country and the creation of these models. He stressed that Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, with his far-sighted and wise policy developed the centuries-old tradition of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan and raised it to a qualitatively new level. President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues political direction in the field of protection and development of the multicultural traditions of the Azerbaijani
people in our country under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev. In modern times Azerbaijan is an example of a country in the world with its own multiculturalism policy and its achievements in this area.
Participants of the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism visited Taza Pir Mosque, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic Adil Aliyev and Chairman of the State Committee for Work with religious organizations, Mubariz Gurbanli.
It should be noted that the XIII International Winter School of Multiculturalism, dedicated to the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, will last until February 26. At the XIII International Winter School multiculturalism is attended by 30 students from leading universities Azerbaijan, Turkey, Brazil, Romania, Germany, Palestine, Russia, USA, Georgia, Pakistan, Iraq, Bulgaria, Mozambique, CAR, Syria, Sri Lanka, China and Japan.
