Closing ceremony of 10th International Winter School of Multiculturalism held

A closing ceremony of 10th International Winter School of Multiculturalism “Contribution of Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism to global peace”, organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC), was held on 21 February.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Director of BIMC Ravan Hasanov talked about the importance of the school of multuculturalism. He noted that those kind of events are very important in terms of promoting Azerbaijani multiculturalism around the world.
“Winter and summer schools of multiculturalism are among other important projects of the Center. This project is organized twice a year and covers Baku and a number of other regions. The event, initiated by President Ilham Aliyev, has already become a tradition. This event is of great importance. Thus, the successful multiculturalism policy implemented by the head of our state is once again demonstrated to the international community through this event. Foreign students also learn about the Azerbaijani multiculturalism,” Mr. Hasanov said noting that the Winter School participants also witnessed the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people.
The Winter School participants were awarded certificates during the event. They shared their impressions of the project and expressed their satisfaction with the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people.
Later the appeal of the Winter School participants to President Ilham Aliyev was read out.
