The Multiculturalism Center published a collection of articles entitled "Multicultural and Universal Values in the Creativity of Nizami Ganjavi"

       The new edition of Baku International Multiculturalism Center has been published. The collection of articles entitled "Multicultural and Universal Values in the Creativity of Nizami Ganjavi" was prepared in connection with the declaration of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev.       

       The famous Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi's "Khamsa" stands at the top of the world's poetic-philosophical thought. The thoughtful poet laid the foundation of a large literary school consisting of many followers. The manifestation of the multicultural mood, the tolerant state, which has been formed for centuries in our classical Azerbaijani literature and lives in concrete artistic examples, is multifaceted and multidirectional. In this context, first of all, the life and work of the great thinker Nizami Ganjavi attracts attention. The outstanding representative of world literature, genius Azerbaijani poet Nizami's works are rich in multicultural environment, elements and values of multiculturalism. In the collection of articles published by BIMC, Nizami Ganjavi's multifaceted creativity is considered mainly from this perspective - the prism of multiculturalism and tolerance. Nizami Ganjavi is one of the rare personalities who opened a new page in the annals of artistic ideas of mankind. The brilliant legacy of the great artist, which has become an integral part of the spirituality of our people, has been preserving its unique place in the treasury of unparalleled cultural wealth of the East for centuries. In the collection of articles presented by the Multiculturalism Center, an attempt was made to review the genius Nizami's legacy from the aspect of universal values.

       Scientific and journalistic articles of about 20 authors from 6 countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Germany, Turkey) have been collected in the publication. The scientific editor and author of the foreword of the collection of articles is academician Kamal Abdulla, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baku International Multiculturalism Center, project manager is Ravan Hasanov, the executive director of BIMC, editors are Fakhri Ugurlu and Tahir Kazimli, employees of the Multiculturalism Center, and responsible for the publication is Rashad Ilyasov, the head of the analytical department of BIMC.
