Representatives of different nationalities and religions have lived in our country as friends and brothers for thousands of years and have protected Azerbaijan as their common homeland. Therefore, in the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020 and lasted for 44 days, representatives of all nationalities and religions living in Azerbaijan voluntarily joined the army, participated heroically in the battles, and some of them rose to the height of martyrdom or became veterans.
It should be noted that the purpose of the US delegation's visit to our country is to get more familiar with Azerbaijan's experience in this field, where multiculturalism is accepted as a way of life at a time when extremism and violence are spreading in the world, and at the same time, to ensure security and stability in the region within the framework of the "Safe Return of IDPs" project, the establishment of peace, as well as to hold discussions for cooperation on other priority issues.  Within the framework of the visit, the guests held a number of meetings, visited the liberated cities as Agdam and Shusha, witnessed the results of Armenian vandalism, and also visited religious places of worship in our country - mosques, synagogues and churches.
