TEACHING OF AZERBAIJAN MULTICULTURALISM SUBJECT ABROAD CONTINUES
The lessons organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism will be successfully continued in the 2021-2022 academic year within the framework of the project of teaching Azerbaijani multiculturalism in foreign countries. 23 foreign universities already take part in the educational process, which is carried out as a project to promote the traditions of multiculturalism of Azerbaijan, the culture and history of Azerbaijan as a whole. From this academic year, the names of two more foreign universities will be added to the list. The cooperation agreement has already been signed between the Multiculturalism Center and the Eurasian Turkic Peoples Research Institute of Dongduk Girls' University in South Korea. According to the agreement, the subject "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" will be taught at the Research Institute of Eurasian Turkic Peoples of Dongduk Girls' University. Classes are scheduled for the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. It should be noted that Dongduk Girls' University has been functioning since 1950 and has 7,500 students.
It should be noted that negotiations are currently underway between the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism and the National University of Modern Languages of Pakistan. After the signing of the cooperation agreement, the "Azerbaijani multiculturalism" course is planned to be taught at this university in the 2nd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.
