With a view to preparing for publication of a textbook on the subject of "European Studies in the Caucasus", a workshop was held on November 22-24 in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, for undergraduate students from universities in the South Caucasus. The event, organized by the Association of European Studies for the Caucasus, was attended by experts from Germany, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Ukraine. The forthcoming draft textbook is expected to be innovative. Specifically, the textbook will focus on teaching European studies from the perspective of the values and context of the South Caucasus. The event was attended by a representative of the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre Rahim Rahimov. R. Rahimov made a presentation at the workshop on a comparative analysis of the official approaches of Azerbaijan and the European Union to the concept of tolerance.
