Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism organized subsequent intensive training for the pedagogues who will teach the course “Azerbaijani Multiculturalism” on scientific bases.

The training sessions held at Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism on 14 January – 2 February were attended by the scholars with different scientific degrees and teachers from Baku State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Slavic University, Avrasiya University, Baku University of Engineers and Kooperasiya University. During the training the senior advisors of the Service of the State Counselor on Multiculturalism, Interethnic and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Etibar Najafov and Hajar Verdiyeva, the leading advisor of the above-stated State Service Jeyhun Mammadov, the Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Ilham Mammadzadeh, Associate Professor of the Technical University Ayyub Karimov and the Chief of the Department at Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism Rashad Ilyasov made presentations on “The Subject Matter and Significance of the Course of Azerbaijani Multiculturalism”, “The Policy of Multiculturalism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Foreign Policy of the Country”, “The Ethnic-national Diversity and the Policy of Multiculturalism of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “Multiconfessionalism and the Policy of Multiculturalism of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “Multiculturalism in Azerbaijan: Its History, Essence and Main Characteristics”, “The Ideas of Tolerance and Multiculturalism in the History of the Social and Philosophical Views of Azerbaijan”, “The Models of Multiculturalism in the World Countries” accordingly. During the training there were broad discussions, the questions of the would-be teachers of the course were answered profoundly, and they were given the publications of Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism as visual aids.

It should be reminded that on 10 February there will be an examination and the training participants with successful outcomes will be given the certificates of Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism.
